Wolf Island Bog
Wolf Island Bog represents one of the largest areas of intact
active raised bog in Northern Ireland. The site displays a well-defined
dome and characteristic vegetation and structural features,
including pool, hummock and lawn complexes. Bog-mosses are well-represented,
including the hummock-forming species Sphagnum imbricatum
and S. fuscum.
There is no public access to this site.
