Deroran Bog

One of the largest remaining lowland raised bogs in NI. One of the few relatively intact inter-drumlin peat accumulations in Co. Tyrone.

The bog is dominated by Ling and Cross-leaved Heath and Deer Grass. Bog Cotton and Bog Asphodel are frequent through out the site.
