Peatland

Location - The Fairy Cave; Dunlade Glebe; Faughanvale; Limavady.

Description
On a north west facing mountain slope with excellent views. The site sits at the foot of a steep scarp. It consists of a setting of 5 large slabs of stone, each over 1m long. The area around the upright stones would appear to be lined with stones, although this is now mostly covered in peat. It is not possible to identify which type of megalithic tomb this was. Nearby to NE are the remains of early field-walls, one of which runs down hill. There are also other intermittent stretches in the area, but no overall plan could be identified.
