Description
A small dugout, possibly made of alder, discovered during turf digging near Cullybackey in County Antrim. From its shape presumed to have been a navigable craft, and from its dimensions together with lipped features at either end, thought to have been portable. Approximately 1.181m in length, 46cm broad in the stern but widening to 56cm in the bow, and standing 32cm tall but rising to43cm at the stern.
